     For the color article a part that I grasped from it was, that in displaying information using natural colors were the best choice to go with in order for people to familiarize themselves. Colors like blues, and grays and yellows. I chose not to do that because My information kind of had a theme and was a little bit more personal. The topic I chose was swearing and seeing as it isn't really lady like I chose colors that were feminine to go along with my 20 's style graphic.

     For the narrative I understood that it was about conveying a visual 4 dimensional or 3 dimensional ideas to a 2 dimensional plane, For example for mines I would be getting people to understand my physical actions of texting and the amount of times I actually do it through text and the context of how I do it. Kind of like bringing reality and information into a graph. If that is right I tried to do this using images of a cellphone and creating a seen where this information can be easily read and imaginable.

Data Set

I took the tallys from all the time's I said the curse words over the past three weeks and also I decided to go with the conversation type because it will help me put the words in context and give the reader an idea of how I felt at the time

Project 3

Problem: Trying to cut down how much I swear in text messages, and find other words to use when I'm mad


Data: I took the amount of times I texted typical swear words and counted them all. I also decided to add in the context they were said, and how I was feeling that day.


Design: I will be putting them into a calendar like graphic and probably using emoticons for the emotions.

I was influenced by the style and how this graph showed change over time.

For this graph I liked how they took a different approach to a typical calendar and the days of the year that were of importance. The circle was really a great way of showing that these same holiday's occur every year.

I found this to be a good display of the emoticons, not too distracting and relevant to the information.

These two infographics were designed is similar to how I want my graphic to look. The second one was more of the color scheme that I would like to use and the first one I enjoyed how the illustrations were included in the piece to evoke emotion.
